Hostel M - Belgrade

I loved staying in a room with a sink and an electronic kettle as a kitchen. The stinky corridor terrace was a real treat. So glad they didn't show pictures of the ancient building online, what a surprise! But hey, at least it's close to the bus station.

The old grumpy lady woke me up to check if I had a visa while I was sleeping! And she wouldn't let me stay past 11:00, so inconvenient.

We loved the excellent location, fast wifi, and very clean and quiet environment. The couple at the reception was friendly and helpful, and the woman spoke English well. The peaceful setting allowed us to have a restful stay after a long day of exploring. The strong internet connection was a bonus, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The small but fully functional kitchen was great for preparing our own meals. The bed was big and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. as low-budget travelers, we found these facilities and amenities at Hostel M to be top-notch.

Felt like being home, no complaints!

With just a short 5-10 minute walk, we were able to explore wonderful places like the Zoo and The National Observatory and Planetarium. The convenience of these attractions being so close to the hostel made our stay even more enjoyable. the 24-hour front desk at Hostel M ensured that we had assistance whenever we needed it, making us feel safe and taken care of during our family adventure.

For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

The Location: Situated in the heart of Belgrade, this hostel is like a secret hideaway tucked away from the bustling main street. It's surrounded by the city's most interesting places, making exploring a breeze.

Limited Hot Water: Unfortunately, the hot water supply at the hostel is rather limited. After about 5 minutes, the water turns cold, leaving you with a shivery surprise.

Hostel M is conveniently located just a short 5-10 minute walk from the main attractions of Belgrade. We had a fantastic time exploring the city with our children, especially visiting the nearby Zoo and the National Observatory and Planetarium. The staff at Hostel M were friendly and helpful, always available at the 24-hour front desk to answer any questions we had and provide recommendations for family-friendly activities. Despite the small drawbacks, our overall experience at Hostel M was enjoyable.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if Hostel M offered some children's activities or a play area.

The price was affordable and the room was relatively clean. The location was also convenient, being close to the old town and within walking distance to key attractions. One advantage that I enjoyed was the ability to store my belongings safely, including my bicycle, during my stay.

The kitchen was poorly equipped and not suitable for cooking proper meals. The reception area was small and often occupied by staff, making it uncomfortable to relax.

The location of the hostel is really convenient, as it is close to the city center and the bus station. It's also not far from the old train station, although it is currently closed. the room was cozy and equipped with air conditioning, a TV, a comfortable bed, and a closet. the bathroom was clean and had a window. the staff was warm and welcoming, always willing to help and advise.

Communication with some of the staff members was a bit challenging due to language barriers.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel. The location was convenient, as it was just a short walk away from the central bus station. The first reception guy I encountered was friendly and helpful. The hostel itself had a cozy atmosphere and the rooms weresuper clean and cozy. The hosts made an effort to accommodate our requests and were friendly throughout our stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, overall I would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone visiting the city.
